This recipe is a great recipe to meet all you macro nutrients in one serving! It is also our favorite after a Terra-Core workout! It will fuel you back up and give you energy throughout the rest of your day!
Recipe: Acai Bowl
Acai bowls are made with superfruit acai berry puree. This is a perfect after gym meal. It is delicious and easy to make! In just 5 minutes you can create an awesome snack meal and top it off with some of your favorite toppings.
The acai berry is a native fruit to the South American Rainforest. Unlike many fruits that are high in sugar and low in fats the acai berry is actually high in fat and low in sugar. This is key for a recovery meal since your body has just burnt a lot of energy.
Time to get your acai bowl ready!
1. Add the acai pure to a high-speed blender. You can also add frozen bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. Then add the milk and yogurt to the blender as well. Blend all together until you see a smooth consistency only add additional milk when needed. The consistency should be smooth but not watery.
2. Once blended well, poor the "smoothie" into a bowl.
3. Add toppings to it! You can add fresh fruit such as banana, mango, pineapple, strawberries and even kiwi! You can also add granola and sprinkle some honey onto it, or peanut butter. You can customize it to what you like!
Best if enjoyed immediately because it will melt :)
