If someone were to ask you what the benefits of exercising are..The answer would be simple; weight loss, building muscle and reducing stress. But that is just the start, there's another area in your life that can benefit from exercise, your immune system! Studies have shown that regular exercise can significantly improve one's immune system and wellbeing.

A 2019 scientific review in the Journal of Sport and Health Science found that exercise can improve your immune response, lower illness risk, and reduce inflammation. When you are working out your heart rate goes up this causes your body blood flow to increase and body temperature to rise helping your antibodies fight any infections. This phenomenon also helps clear bacteria out of your airways and reduce stress hormones.

Remember to rest and indulge in self care
